Bea Arthur dies

Sad news that beloved actress and animal rights crusader Bea Arthur has died today.
I read that she had cancer, probably a very difficult illness to cope with at age 86.
She will be missed, but leaves behind a glorious body of work including two enormously popular and critically acclaimed television series “Maude” and “The Golden Girls.”

Need is officially available for the first time in the United States in almost ten years. Actually, officially, it’s the first time. Period. To mark this occasion and to promote the book, I made this, the first of a number of promotional videos for the book which feature excerpts from the text.
